The summer season can be a lively time for gatherings and festive activities due to the warmer weather and longer days. This time of year can be an energy booster in some ways, but, our energy can also fall victim to depletion and irritation from the mix of heat and over-exertion. Through intentional meditation, asana and Pranayama (breathing techniques) we can find greater equilibrium to balance these fiery energies.

Join me for a gentle restorative practice that aims to soften tension in the physical body, ease agitation in the mind and cultivate emotions of love and compassion. As summer governs the Ayurvedic seasons of Pitta, we can utilize cooling practices to balance the heat of Pitta. This 2-hour workshop will bring together all of the ingredients to achieve a more calm, positive and focused state of being. Through the combination of meditation, restorative poses, breath practices and essential oils, your senses will receive a variety of calming nourishment.

This practice will be very mellow in nature, so if you desire some space to slow down and offer yourself a mini vacation, this is the workshop for you! This is an all-levels offering, props will be available upon arrival.

*Notebooks are encouraged for note-taking and journaling, though not required.
