OVERVIEW OF THE RETREAT:

Join Koren Kiener for a 4 day, 3 night yoga and meditation retreat in a gorgeous, rustic-style 40-acre organic farm nestled right by the Pacific coast of Gualala, CA. This is an all-inclusive yoga and meditation offering for those looking to deepen their practice and for practitioners in search of a relaxing and mindful vacation. The theme of this retreat is Creative Restoration as a way to align with the changing seasons and to instill new intentions for positive and empowering transformation. The spring provides a wealth of growth, nourishment and energy that we will be exploring through the peaceful land and with supportive yoga and meditation practices. All levels are welcome as this will be an inclusive and beneficial weekend for beginning to advanced yogis alike!


Daily Practice

Mornings will begin with a guided Vipassana meditation followed by a Vinayasa/Hatha based asana practice. Evenings will comprise of a dharma talk in addition to a restorative practice. Classes will encourage optional journaling as well.


Meals

Breakfast fixings will be included: enjoy coffee, teas, fresh organic eggs, home made organic coconut almond granola, yogurt, as well as apple sauce and jam from the property trees. Home made bread from the wood fired brick oven and other morning delights will also be provided. For lunch and dinner, locally sourced organic meals will be prepared with seasonal ingredients. Food restrictions can and will be accommodated.

    Transportation

Transportation can and will be arranged from San Francisco to Gualala, CA. Please inquire for more details


RATES:

* All inclusive: Lodging, food, daily practice, activities


Camping:  $350

Enjoy the serenity of the property's natural landscape with nature's sounds, ocean views, and a lush setting with nearby flower gardens. This option will require students to provide their own camping supplies including tents, campers, bedding, etc. 


Shared triple:  $450

The shared triple features two large twin bunks and one twin bed in a semi-private area (walls not fully to ceiling).


Shared double twin:  $550 / Shared double queen:  $560

In the kitchen house there is a large room with a queen and a twin bed. In the main house there is another room with one queen and one twin bed.


Single double:  $650 / Single queen:  $660 / Single king:  $680 / Shared couple's single:  $850

In the main house there is one room that features a king bed, another with a queen bed, and the final with a double bed. Couples or pairs are welcome to share a single room at a special rate.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY:

This off the grid secluded property is home to expansive views of lush forrest, ocean, flowers, and other natural beauties. Nearby you will find Point Arena, beaches, and rivers. This cozy hand-built wooden home features 6 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a separate guest house with an outdoor shower and restroom. Also included in the premise are a wood fire brick oven, spacious dining area, outdoor fire pit, and fruit and flower farm that surrounds the house with outdoor seating areas. Enjoy dark night skies with a huge star view in addition to the sounds of ocean waves and seals (beach only a quarter mile away). This is a dog friendly residence with an added $30 fee per dog.

About your host

Koren is a certified yoga and meditation instructor with over 500 hours of training. Her intentions behind leading retreats are based in her own understanding of the value in slowing down. Beyond the healing and empowering benefits that translate through yoga and meditation, Koren is a firm believer that the presence of nature and simplicity further act as medicine towards rejuvenation and inner peace. Furthermore, the curiosity to explore new environments helps to shift perspective, inspire new insight, and becomes a tool towards deepened gratitude.
